Goals 2013

2013 is my year of vintage knitting. For sweaters, I will only knit from vintage or vintage-style patterns.
Fashion on the Ration Challenge - to spend 66 coupons or less on clothes
To build a cash cushion. I'm aware that Toy won't last forever (he's done 264,000 miles) and want to pay cash for the next car.
To finish the downstairs of the house. It's time we had a real kitchen.
To get a dog.
To lose 20lb in weight.
To only buy British/locally manufactured yarns.
To work on my voice and my musicality. I'm a very lazy singer and need to work much harder.
To work out 5 days a week, either weight training or running.

Anything (and everything) written by Terry Pratchett - on CD as well as in paper
Complete Tightwad Gazette, by Amy Dacyczyn - the frugalista's bible
Indian Restaurant Cookbook, by Pat Chapman
Knitting in Vogue, by Christina Probert, Volumes 1 & 2 - They're collections of Vogue Knitting patterns from the 1930s to 1980's, published in 1982. My sourcebook for period knitting patterns.
